Founded in 1906 in Roscoe, Texas, we opened our second office in Sweetwater in 1996 and our third office in Bastrop in 2004. Our convenience banking concept includes expanded hours, Saturday banking in Roscoe/Sweetwater and being open seven days a week in Bastrop along with same day credit given on all deposits made until 6:00 o’clock Monday - Friday. Beginning January 1, 2010, The Roscoe State Bank will no longer participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Thus, after December 31, 2009, funds held in noninterest-bearing transaction accounts will no longer be guaranteed in full under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program, but will be insured up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
